Emergencies
OXYGEN
Due to safety reasons, passengers are not allowed to bring their own oxygen. The oxygen supply onboard is for use in emergency situations only, not for passengers who have pre existing medical conditions that require supplementary oxygen.
Passengers, who require additional oxygen during their XL Airways flight, must contact the XL Airways Pre-flight department at least two weeks prior to their departure date, for full procedures and guidelines regarding their requirements. Oxygen charges: £100 each way or £200 return trip. Please contact any other airlines directly to arrange oxygen
MEDICATION
All medication should be carried in passenger's hand luggage rather than hold luggage.
Passengers carrying syringes/needles must carry a doctors note or a repeat prescription to check in with them.
STRETCHERS
Are not carried onboard XL Airways.
HUMAN REMAINS
The carriage of coffins can be arranged through XL Airways Cargo department where standard cargo charges apply, please contact our cargo representative on 01293 507489.
